Green House
It is an environmental initiative aimed at afforestation and environmental protection in Iraq. Iraq suffers from the problem of desertification and lack of vegetation cover. Which affects the environment and the quality of life in cities. The project is funded by the Tamkeen Fund for Community Initiatives. affiliated to the Iraqi Private Banks Association, In cooperation with the Central Bank of Iraq.
The Green House project is located in the city of Baghdad, Where he works to grow plants that are resistant to high temperatures and shade plants. Greenhouses are used for organic farming. This provides optimal conditions for plant growth. Since its inception a year and a half ago, The project succeeded in planting more than 55 thousand trees in different regions of Iraq.
currently, The Green House Project is working to plant half a million trees across Iraq. The project aims to create a better future for future generations by promoting environmental awareness and planting trees. This project is an important step towards preserving nature and achieving sustainable development in Iraq.
The Green House Project works in cooperation with the government and civil society. This partnership is key to the success and sustainability of the project. Through continuing joint efforts and increasing environmental awareness, The environment in Iraq will continue to improve and achieve the environmental balance needed to ensure a better future for all.
